My Favorite Summer Essentials
I thought long and hard about what essentials I couldn’t live without during the summer.
Here’s a list of my very favorites:
Kindle: This will forever be on my essentials guides. Kindles are game changers for readers. They’re compact and perfect to throw in your bag on a trip. Plus they stay charged for so long! I only need to charge probably once a week.
Goop Sunscreen: This is our go-to sunscreen. It has clean ingredients, made for sensitive skin and sweat resistant for 80 minutes.
Outdoor Waterproof Blanket: I’ve had mine for over a decade. I love how it has a strap and folds up so easily. It’s withstood hundreds of beach and park days and survived countless drink and food spills and lives in my trunk year round.
Splash Proof Travel Pouch: Stash your sunscreen, toiletries, or wet bathing suit to keep your wet stuff separate! I pack my leakable toiletries in it and stash in my suitcase on trips. Aloha Collection has the cutest patterns!
Best Outdoor Rocking Chair: it’s a bit of an investment but I promise you’ll love it. Comfy and quality and the perfect chair for camping or watching sports.
Packable Sunhat: I’ve had dozens of sun hats and this one is always the one I go back to. It’s lightweight, breathable, packable (yes- packable!) and super cute.
Backpack Cooler: With a 54 can and 4lb ice capacity, this insulated, waterproof backpack cooler is capable of holding a ton. It keeps food and drinks at the desired temperature (hot or cold) for up to 24hrs! I love how it’s a backpack instead of a handheld cooler.
Best Thin Packable Beach Towel: sand resistant & quick drying and so easy to pack- what more could you want in a beach towel?
Stanley Water Bottle: I didn’t believe all the hype until I was gifted one for my bday. Now I so get it.
